For my first day of classes at Universidad Nacional de El Salvador, I wore a pink blouse, jeans, and flats. I was early because I was not sure where the buildings were and I needed time to look for them in case I got lost. Since social relationships are not my forte, I was anxious. I sat next to a girl who then became my best friend.
